As per a recent NASSCOM estimate, the MNC tech centre market or what is more commonly known as Global Capability Centre (GCC) touched $28.3 billion in 2018-19 as compared to $19.5 billion in 2014-15. Today, there are over 1,250 MNCs that have GCCs in India.
This clearly indicates how India is the technology hub of the world and that there is no dearth of talent out here. We just need to have the right means to find them. TechGig Code Gladiators 2019 is a platform that helps companies unearth quality tech talent in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Chatbots, Internet of Things, etc.
The grand finale of TechGig Code Gladiators 2019, currently being held at the Jio Campus, Reliance Corprorate Park, Navi Mumbai is testament to the fact that there exists incredible tech talent in India. Coders started arriving early for this competition on June 21, 2019 and were greeted with lot of fun, games and relaxation before they donned their coding avatars for the much-awaited hackathon.

Intensely competitive hackathon
When the fun and games were finally over, our Gladiators took to their chairs and brought out their laptops to tackle the coding challenge put in front of them. The marathon hackathon continued throughout the day, the night, and till the Code Gladiators 2019 Code Freeze on Day 2 that happened at sharp 10:00 am.
Now was the time to make their cases in front of the jury. The Make or Break Presentations on Day 2 of Code Gladiators 2019 was an all-important round where they had to convince the jury on several different parameters.
The judges were in awe of the passion exhibited by these coders and listened to each presentation with great attention and sealed the fate of the participants in the respective theme rounds. There were 10 themes in total for this year’s Code Gladiators event including:
Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Chatbots, Robotic Process Automation, Fintech, Software Testing, Location Services, Amazon Alexa Skills, Internet of Things, and New Commerce.
The good news is that the evaluation process is now complete, and the results of the hackathon have also been announced. Hackathon winner announcements of themes sponsored by Jio, UiPath, Hexaware Global, IndusInd Bank, Alexa, Bosch Global, HERE Technologies, and Credit Suisse.
These winners will now be felicitated in a gala award ceremony tonight, the final day of the exciting Code Gladiators 2019 journey.
